At about 9 am Tuesday morning the Henry County Sheriff’s office received a 911 report of a man stuck in a corn bin in the 2600 grid of 120th Street. Responding to the initial report were Winfield Fire & Rescue, the Henry County Sheriff’s office and Henry County Ambulance. As a precaution Mt. Pleasant was asked to respond with the aerial tower. A Medforce helicopter was also requested. Winfield Rescue was able to pull the man out of the corn and he was able to climb out of the bin with minor assistance. No injuries were reported. Mt. Pleasant Fire and the helicopter were advised to disregard prior to arrival at the scene.
