Advocates for Democratic Primary Candidates Will Speak at The Henry County Democrats Off-Year Caucus Saturday, March 28, 2015

HENRY COUNTY, IOWA, MARCH 20, 2015: Speakers for three potential candidates for the 2016 Democratic nomination will be special guests, along with State Senator Richard Taylor, at The Henry County Democrats biennial off-year caucus, to be held Saturday afternoon, March 28th. The caucus will begin at 2:30 at the Old City Hall, 111 S. Main Street, Olds, IA. It will be preceded by a short organizational meeting at 2:00.
Attending will be Penny Creech, from Ready for Hillary; Jake Oeth, advisor from O Say Can You See, Governor Martin O’Malley’s leadership PAC; and Beth Farvour, Regional Field Director from Run Warren Run and The three guests will talk about their organizations and answer questions about the upcoming primary season. Note that to date, there are no confirmed candidates; these organizations represent efforts to draft specific candidates.

It is a great opportunity to discuss who we are, and what our party represents.”
In addition to the speakers, the caucus will also include a discussion of the issues that attendees believe are critical in the 2016 election.
The organizational meeting is open to all registered Democrats; the general meeting is open to all interested voters and those who will be eligible to vote by November 2016. Voter registration forms will be available as well, for those wanting to participate in the 2016 Democratic caucus.
