Two Vehicle Accident

ON DECEMBER 16, 2015 AT 7:50 HOURS, THE MT PLEASANT POLICE WERE DISPATCHED TO A MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION AT THE INTERSECTION OF WHITE ST AND W MONROE ST. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT A VAN OPERATED BY DUSTIN BEATTY OF MT PLEASANT WAS TRAVELING SOUTH ON WHITE ST AND STOPPED FOR THE STOP SIGN. BEATTY THEN PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF A SUV OPERATED BY SETH MCSHANE WHO WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND AND THE VEHICLES COLLIDED. NOBODY WAS INJURED. THE TOTAL DAMAGE WAS ESTIMATED AT $4500 DAMAGE. BEATTY WAS CITED FOR FAILURE TO OBEY A STOP SIGN. BREUERS TOWING ASSISTED AT THE SCENE. THE INVESTIGATION IS STILL ONGOING.
