Four young people were injured and one teen was killed in an accident near Floris, Iowa. The single vehicle accident occurred Saturday at about 1:20 am. 19 year old Rocky Lee of Floris was driving at a high rate of speed and lost control. The vehicle went into the ditch and began to roll. It continued across a creek before coming to rest. Three occupants were ejected. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 17 year old Mariah Marshall of Bloomfield was killed. The driver and 16 year old Amanda Carr of Pulaski were taken to Davis County Hospital. Hunter Collins, age 20, of Blakesburg and 19 year old Austin Ridgeway of Lancaster Missouri were aircared to University Hospitals in Iowa City. The accident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
