The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Fort Madison, Iowa man on a felony drug charge.

Patrick Dale Wright, 41, of 5722 Bluff Road, Fort Madison, Iowa was arrested on August 13th, 2015 at his residence on a felony drug charge. Wright is charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine, a class C felony. If convicted, Wright faces up to 10 years in a state correctional facility.

The arrest of Wright stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics in the Lee County area.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
