THE SHORT STOP RESTAURANT REACHED A MILESTONE THURSDAY EVENING WHEN THEY SOLD THEIR 100,000 PORK TENDERLOIN SANDWICH.  THE NEW LONDON EDUCATION ASSOCIATION WAS MEETING AND DECIDED TO PHONE IN AN ORDER TO THE SHORT STOP FOR TENDERLOINS.  ANGIE LIPPER OF MEDIAPOLIS WHO TEACHES AT NEW LONDON AND IS A MEMBER OF THE NLEA PICKED UP THE ORDER AND GOT THE GOOD NEWS FROM CO-OWNER DAVE KEMPKER.  SO NOW EACH MONTH FOR THE NEXT YEAR WHEN THE NLEA MEETS, SOMEONE GETS TO EAT A FREE TENDERLOIN FROM THE SHORTSTOP.  CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN REGISTERING FOR MANY OTHER PRIZES THAT WILL BE DRAWN FOR IN  CELEBRATION OF THE 100,000TH  TENDERLOIN BEING SOLD.
