STATE GIRLS GOLF RESULTS

Mt. Pleasant Panther girls’ golf team finished 6th in the Class 4A State competition played at Coldwater Links Course in Ames.  M.P. shot 394-392 for a 786 total, Washington won the team title for the 2nd year in a row with a 715 total and Fairfield finished 2nd with 732.  Sarah Nacos won medalist honors for the 2nd year in a row with a 154, Lindsey Repp of Fairfield finished 2nd with 163.  Mt. Pleasant’s individual scores were:  Cali Liechty 190, Haley Booton 193, Ally Lowe 200, Keri Herr 203, Annie Liechty 214 and Chloe Beavers 225.

New London won the Class 1A title at Jester Park Course in Granger with a 666 total.  Akron Westfield was 2nd 740.  Emma Pry finished 2nd in the medalist competition shooting 151, one stroke ahead of teammate Casey Noble who had 152, medalist was Samantha Knight of West Monona 146.  The rest of the Tiger scores were:  Paetyn Prottsman 182, Frankie Johnson 182, Morgan Oliver 188.  This the 1st state title for the New London girls golf team and coach Greg Lerdal.
