Mt. Pleasant travels to Mediapolis to play non-district football tonight.  Both teams are looking for their 1st win of the year as last week M.P. fell to Clear Creek-Amana 23-8 and Mepo fell in 14-12 overtime to their rival West Burlington-Notre Dame.  This is the 3rd meeting of these two schools, last year the Bulldogs won on their home field 20-13.  The Panthers touchdown last week was a 55 yard pass on a 4th down play, so they need to work on putting together some sustaining drives.  On defense they allowed over 300 yards rushing so you can bet Mepo will be attacking that part of the defense 1st.  A fresh-soph game will be played at 5 p.m. The varsity game will begin 30 minutes after it’s completion so the varsity game could start a little earlier than normal.  KILJ-FM 105.5 and will broadcast live, our pregame show begins at 6:30 p.m.

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL SCORES:  Burlington won over Davenport North 36-28 on the road, Grayhound quarterback L.T. Beck threw 5 touchdown passes.
