The Mt. Pleasant Panther volleyball team won two matches and lost two matches at the Wilton Tournament Saturday.
Iowa rolled over Iowa State in Iowa City Saturday night 42-3.
Iowa Wesleyan hosted the Blue Jays of Westminster College Saturday to open up play in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. Iowa Wesleyan suffered a 24-7 defeat for their second loss in a row.
Iowa Wesleyan traveled to Rockford University for a non-conference soccer match Saturday. They trailed 1-0 at the end of the first half, but scored three goals in the second half to regain the lead. After two late goals by the Rockford, and two over time periods without a goal, IW and Rockford ended in a 3-3 draw.
The Iowa Wesleyan women’s soccer team traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin Saturday. They faced Mount Mary University for a non-conference match up and lost 6-1.
Iowa Wesleyan split in their two matches played at Westminster Saturday. The Tigers beat Fontbonne and then fell to Westminster.
