The intent of the policy is the protection of players, coaches and fans by having media and other entities wishing to have a drone over any IHSAA post-season tournament event or venue meet minimum requirements as established by the IHSAA.  Such organizations desiring to have a drone would need to have the IHSAA written permission in advance, show proof of adequate insurance and confirmation and following of FAA rules and procedures.

The policy is listed on the IHSAA website (www.iahsaa.org)
