Pleasant Panthers are still looking for a varsity football win.  Tonight M.P. tries to get win one against the Washington Demons on their home field.  Washington is 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the district.  Their only loss was to #1 ranked and defending state champ Pella in the opening game of the year by a score of 42-24.  Demons rolled last week over Keokuk 50-7 in their homecoming game led by sophomore QB Ryan Reighard who had a hand in 5 1st half touchdowns, 4 running and 1 passing, for the night he ran for 277 yards and was 9 of 15 passing for 106 yards.  Mt. Pleasant fell last week to Fairfield 43-33 in the Panthers homecoming game, the Panthers finally got untracked offensively led by Patrick Canby who rushed for 65 yards and caught 8 passes that totaled 138  more yards.  M.P. will have to continue that offensive production tonight to outscore the Demons and grab a district win.  KILJ-FM 105.5 will bring you all the beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show, kickoff is at 7:30 and Shawn Striegel post game show at 11 p.m.  The freshman teams of the two schools play at 5 p.m. tonight and the JV teams meet Monday night in Mt.
