The MPHS Cross Country coaches remind athletes there will be summer runs in preparation of the XC season. It is a summer base program so you can log your miles. There will be a 100 mile club so all runners are asked to keep track of their mileage. At the end of the summer you can receive a t shirt and possibly some other prizes.
The runs are for all middle school and high school runners. There are paces for everyone, so all are asked to attend.
The runs will be held every Monday and Wednesday morning at 630 AM at the Old Threshers Theatre Museum.
The evening runs will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 700 PM at Saunders Park by the pool.
Coaches remind runners these runs are optional, but he more you attend the better your xc season will be.
