School Alert System Registration- New system requires New Registration to be completed

Wayland, Iowa July 18, 2016:  WACO Community School District will be using a new alert system to alert the public, parents, students and staff of important school notifications. These notifications may include: Early dismissal; late start; school cancellation; activity cancellation/postponement; bus notifications, such as bus routes running late.


The new system requires that individuals register to receive text or email alerts. No phone numbers or email addresses will be rolled over from the former Iowa School Alerts system.
