On 1/23/15, the Mt Pleasant Police executed a search warrant at 610 E Henry St in Mt Pleasant, IA. They were assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol. The warrant was a result of a lengthy investigation into drug sales and stolen property.
During the warrant, approximately ¼ pound of marijuana was located along with US Currency, scales, baggies of marijuana, prescription pills, paraphernalia, and items that were instantly recognized as stolen property.
As a result of the warrant, the following people were charged as follows:
Leandrew Brink age 37, 610 E Henry St with Child Endangerment and Accessory after the fact, both Aggravated Misdemeanors, Gatherings where Controlled Substances are allowed a Serious Misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Equipment.
Austin Saner age 18, same address as above with Possession with Intent to deliver less than 50 kilograms of marijuana, and Delivery of marijuana both Class D Felony’s, and Accessory after the fact and Gatherings where Controlled Substances are allowed.
Alex Foster age 22, same address, was arrested on four warrants for his arrest stemming from car and residential burglaries over the winter. He is facing more charges.
Tyler Wesley age 21 of Mt Pleasant was arrested on Possession with intent to Deliver less than 50 kilograms of marijuana.
All four subjects were transported to the Henry County Jail where they were held pending arraignment.
More warrants and arrests are also expected. Some of the information that resulted in these arrests came from the public calling in with information and it is greatly appreciated.
