The Mount Pleasant Fire Department responded to a call Monday at about 4 am at 905 S. Briarwood Lane. According to County records the property is owned by Kenneth and Ellen Reynolds. Crews arrived on the scene to find the rear porch area on fire. They were able to put on the fire in less than two hours. There was moderate damage to the house. No cause was identified.
