Midwest Old Threshers Announces additions to staff

Members of the Midwest Old Threshers Board of Directors have announced two additions to their staff. Kat Zeglen has been hired on as administrative assistant and John Dunnegan will be responsible for Public Relations and Marketing.

Dunnegan comes with an extensive background in radio and marketing and will be working closely with Threshers CEO, Terry McWilliams. Commenting, John said, ‘I am excited! Old threshers has always been a must attend event for my family; a pioneer log village, old west town, museums, trains, trollies, tractors along with nightly world class entertainment. I want to share the excitement. I’ve always felt that Old Threshers is a family vacation in Iowa’s backyard.”

Kat holds multiple degrees. She has a bachelor degree in communications, and an associates in nursing, and will be a great addition to the Threshers team. She and her husband Rob, owner of Zeglen Construction reside in Olds with their son Rhett. Rhett is an eighth grader at Mt. Pleasant Schools. John and his wife Dawn, who is employed with Iowa Wesleyan College, live near Yarmouth with children Patrick & Eileen. Their daughter Hillary, of Hampton Virginia is a 2011 graduate of Iowa Wesleyan.
