Man Injured by a DeerWritten by Theresa Rose on October 28, 2015
Just before 3 pm Wednesday Trenton First Responders, the ambulance and Mt. Pleasant Fire were paged out to 1078 185th Street. The Henry County Law Center received a report that an individual had been attacked by a deer in the timber at that address. Initial reports indicate the man received chest injuries when he was kicked by the deer. He was also reporting trouble breathing. The Fire Department was called to provide an ATV. The male subject was described as 58 years old. He was taken by ambulance to HCHC and then transported by air to University Hospitals in Iowa City.
