MOUNT PLEASANT, IOWA – The Lower Skunk River Water Quality and Soil Health Initiative Project will be having nutrient sampling days in the counties of Henry, Jefferson, Lee, and Van Buren. Date, time and locations are as follows:
March 26, 2018 Henry County USDA/NRCS Office 709 S. Iris St. Mount Pleasant
March 27, 2018 Jefferson County USDA/NRCS Office 605 S. 23rd St. Fairfield
March 29, 2018 Van Buren County USDA/NRCS Office 1016 Franklin St. Keosauqua
March 30, 2018 Lee County USDA/NRCS Office 503 Elm Donnellson
Time for the testing at each location will be from 9am – 3pm.
Bring one cup samples of water from a pond, stream or pattern tile outlet collected within the past 24 hours. We will test the nitrate level of that sample for FREE using the Soil Scan 360.
This testing is voluntary and results are not recorded except for your personal use.
