Louisa County Extension along with Louisa County Farm Bureau to host Farmer’s Share Breakfast March 14thWritten by Theresa Rose on March 2, 2015
Come join the Louisa County FFA chapters, Louisa County Extension and the Louisa County Farm Bureau® at the Farmer’s Share Breakfast as we serve a hot, “homestyle, country breakfast” consisting of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and more from 8:00am-10:00am on March 14, 2015 at the Louisa County Fairgrounds Youth Center. The charge for the breakfast will be $.60 which is the amount a farmer would receive if you were to purchase a similar breakfast at a restaurant or make it at home! Through statistics from this breakfast, we hope to break common misconceptions that are displaced throughout the country! Come help us do so and partake in good food and friendship! During the breakfast, the local FFA chapters will compete as teams of two in a discussion meet setting as they consider and converse about hot topics in agriculture! This is a program you won’t want to miss!
Meals are first come, first served! Please contact Andrea Farrier, Ag Program Assistant, at 319.523.2371×207 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
