Lord’s Cupboard Will Move Into New Facility August 27

Fairfield, Iowa –  The Lord’s Cupboard is completing the renovation of the former Sunshine Laundry building for its Emergency Food Pantry operations.  “The new building looks and feels fantastic,” says Laura Cohen, Coordinator, “and we are so grateful for the hard work and donations from so many talented and generous people here in Fairfield and Southeast Iowa.”  The public is invited to “Like” the Lord’s Cupboard’s Facebook page where Cohen has been posting weekly renovation updates and photos.

The move to the new facility is slated for SATURDAY, AUGUST 27, and the nonprofit is counting on volunteers to help move all of the food, shelving, and other items over to the new location.  A few people will be needed during the week or two before that date to help pack, as well.  Please email LordsCupboard@LISCO.com for more details or if you think you may be available.

Tax-deductible donations toward the new food pantry or any other Lord’s Cupboard program can be made online at www.LordsCupboard.org.
