Lord’s Cupboard to Open New Facility August 29

Fairfield, Iowa –  The Lord’s Cupboard has completed the renovation of the former Sunshine Laundry building for its Emergency Food Pantry.  Anyone in need of emergency food services should come to the new facility starting Monday, August 29.  “We have many clients who are on bikes or walking, and we would hate for them to waste a trip going all the way to our old location.  We hope folks will really help us spread the word,” says Laura Cohen, Coordinator.

The Lord’s Cupboard’s new address is 303 N. 4th Street in Fairfield, and the building is located at the corner of 4th and Grimes.  Food and cash donations are always welcome and starting Monday, they should be dropped off at The Lord’s Cupboard’s new location, as well.  The mailing address will remain the same: PO Box 343 in Fairfield.  Open hours are Monday through Friday, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
