The Mount Pleasant Police Department were involved in a large prostitution sting that led to seven arrests. Many state and local agencies came together for the program.  MPPD, the Henry County Sherriff’s Office and New London Police Department were among those involved as well as agents for the Division of Criminal Investigation and others. They conducted a decoy prostitution operation in a local hotel in Mount Pleasant. The arrests came after a several month long operation.

The following people were arrested:

Rosella Taylor or Burlington for prostitution and driving while barred.

Tiara Dock of Burlington for prostitution.

Misty Jenkins of Davenport for prostitution.

Roni Delany of New London for prostitution.
