Linda Carroll (Eaves) Neuendorf

Linda Carroll (Eaves) Neuendorf, 71, of Donnellson, Iowa passed away at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa.

Born April 24, 1943 in Dallas City, Illinois the daughter of Roy George and Florence Lucybelle (Peeler) Eaves. On August 25, 1966 she married Larry Thomas Neuendorf at the First Christian Church in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband Tom of Donnellson, Iowa, two daughters Lisa (Tom) Gendron of Donnellson, Iowa and Laura (Brian) Sarver of Oskaloosa, Iowa, nine grandchildren Tabitha, Tyler, Tessa and T.J. Gendron, Tyce, Dawson, Reece, Chloe and Gentrie Sarver, five brothers Jack (Kay) Eaves of Fort Madison, Iowa, Richard (Becky) Eaves of Fort Madison, Iowa, Guy Eaves of Elvaston, Illinois, Lester Eaves of Niota, Illinois and Jerry (Nancy) Eaves of Memphis, Missouri, one sister Imojean (Don) Hodges of Fort Madison, Iowa and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter Taylor, four brothers Billy, Vernon, Mike and Pat and three sisters Ruby, Helen and Betty.

Linda was a graduate of Dallas City High School. She worked for Sheaffer Pen Company and Bartlett Instrument in Fort Madison, Iowa, she also held a day care service in her home. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Madison and attended the Sharon Presbyterian Church and the Donnellson United Methodist Church. Linda Enjoyed gardening, attending church and her grandchildren’s ball games. She also enjoyed spending time with her siblings and her Primrose friends group.

Friends may call after 12:00 noon Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. that afternoon at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Sharon Presbyterian Church in rural Farmington with Pastor Doug Smiley and Pastor Mary Ann Welch officiating.

Burial will be in the Sharon Cemetery in rural Farmington.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
