Laura LeeAnn Mullen age 60 of Winfield, died Tuesday evening March 17, 2015 at Sunrise Terrace Care Center. The daughter of Marvin and Janet (Calloway) Bozarth she was born May 5, 1954 at Burlington. On May 20, 1983 she married DeWayne Mullen in Mt. Pleasant. She was a graduate of the Mediapolis High School. She attended classes at Iowa Wesleyan College. She worked at Honts Grocery and Hagerla’s Market in Winfield in earlier years. She was office manager for Shelman Trucking in Winfield for the past 26 years. She attended the Winfield First Presbyterian Church. Laura was an avid Hawkeye and Winfield-Mt. Union sports fan.
Survivors include: her husband of Winfield; two daughters, Danielle and Aaron Black of Wapello; Alexandra Mullen of Winfield; three brothers, Dennis of New London; Darrell and Randall both of Georgia; two sisters, Deborah Habel of Massachusetts and Becky Bozarth of Florida; her stepdad David Good of Winfield;

She was preceded in death by her parents.

According to her wishes cremation has been accorded and there will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be Monday March 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Winfield First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dottie Halverson and Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Interment will follow at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. A general memorial has been established in her name.
