KILJ May Weather Data

May is beef month, and it appears no one had too big a beef with May’s weather. It provided us with adequate moisture without causing any flooding issues, and normal temperature ranges. For the month the KILJ rain gauge had 5.50 inches of rain with the biggest amount coming on the 24th with 1.7 inches. The average high temperature was 73 degrees, the warmest being 82 degrees on six fays during the month, two days early, 2 days in the middle and 2 days near the end of the month hit 82. The average low was 59 degrees with the coolest reading happening on May 21st dropping to 33 degrees.
