DONNELLSON, IA – Lee County will offer the Certified Handlers Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) Tuesday, March 24, 2015. The program will be shown across Iowa through the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP).
The local attendance site is the ISU Extension and Outreach office in Lee County at 414 North Main in Donnellson. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the course will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. The registration fee is $35 on or before March 17 and $45 after March 17. The course will provide continuing instructional credit for certified handlers. Topics to be covered include recognizing pesticide poisoning symptoms, mixing and measuring procedures, and community issues associated with pesticide handling and storage.
