Iowa Wesleyan College Choir to present spring concert

The Iowa Wesleyan College Choir and the Mount Pleasant Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Greg Grove, will present its 2015 spring concert on Sunday, April 26 at 3 p.m. The concert will be held in the Chapel Auditorium on the Iowa Wesleyan campus.

It will feature a wide variety of musical selections, including works by Johann Sebastien Bach, Michael Buble, Maurice Durufle, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney.

The Iowa Wesleyan College Broad Street Connection, a select vocal jazz ensemble, will also perform several jazz pieces.

The IWC Concert Choir, one of seven performing ensembles at the college, tours domestically every spring and has toured internationally twice in recent years. The choir is comprised of 30 singers, representing a wide variety of majors offered at the college.

Dr. Greg Grove joined the Iowa Wesleyan College faculty as choral director in the fall of 2014. He has a master’s degree and Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Iowa and undergraduate degree from Iowa State University.
