Hy-Vee to start delivering groceries to Winfield

Written by Theresa Rose on October 19, 2015

The Winfield Betterment Group and Healthy Henry County Communities are pleased to announce a new partnership with Hy-Vee in Mt. Pleasant to begin delivering groceries to Winfield on a weekly basis. Groceries purchased through Hy-Vee’s new online ordering system by 6pm on Wednesdays will be delivered to Winfield City Hall on Thursdays and available for pick-up between 4-6pm.
To place your order you will need to create an account at www.hy-vee.com/grocery and be able to pay online. Choose store pickup because the system will not allow delivery to the Winfield zip code. When viewing your cart there is a box for instructions for your personal shopper. You must type WINFIELD DELIVERY in that box or your order will not be delivered. If a store pickup fee is added they will remove that when they ring up your items.
If you do not have internet access or would like help placing your order, the library has internet and will be able to help. There will also be classes to help walk people through the process. Watch your city bill for more details.
The Winfield Betterment Group is committed to bringing this convenience to Winfield, but they need good participation in order to make this successful.
