HENRY COUNTY EXTENSION OFFERS FALL MASTER GARDENER TRAINING

Henry County Extension is pleased to announce that Master Gardener training will be offered this fall in Mt. Pleasant. The fall course meets every Tuesday night (6:30pm to 9:30pm) at the Henry County Extension Office from September 27th to November 15th. These classes will be taught via Adobe Connect, with 3 additional classes being taught by Henry County Master Gardeners. The class members will also attend an all-day training on the Iowa State University campus in October. After completion of the educational hours, individuals are required to complete 40 hours of volunteer service and record these online within one year of completion of the course.

If you would like to know more an informational meeting will be held on August 16th at 7pm at the Henry County Extension Office.

If you would like to register for the fall Master Gardener training please go this website, http://mastergardenerhours.hort.iastate.edu/application-form.php, and complete the online registration form. After online registration is completed, background check forms will be sent to you that will need to be completed and returned to the Henry County Extension office by August 26th along with your $195 course enrollment fee.
