HCI Hospice Care Services’ 5th Annual Bucket Bash to help hospice patients cross off items on their “bucket lists”
Mount Pleasant – The community is invited to the 5th Annual Bucket Bash benefiting patients served by HCI Hospice Care Services. The event will be held Monday, Oct. 24, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Union Block, 113 W. Monroe St. in Mount Pleasant. A variety of buckets, each including items such as gift certificates or donated goods, will be offered for silent auction. Raffle drawings will also be held.
Attendees will enjoy a full dinner, wine and the event’s signature drink “The Bucketini”. Casual attire is encouraged. Reservations are required; please contact the HCI Hospice Care Services office at (319) 385-4472 for details or to purchase tickets.
Proceeds from the event will help hospice patients cross off their “bucket lists” through HCI Hospice Care Services’ Quality of Life fund, which helps cover care costs of hospice patients in need and also funds final wishes. Tickets are $25; please purchase them by Oct. 17th. For tickets, more information or to donate a filled bucket for the event, call (319) 385-4472 or stop by HCI Hospice Care Services’ office in Mount Pleasant, located at 118 N. Main St., during regular business hours.
The 5th Annual Bucket Bash is being organized by a group of local civic leaders, and catering will be provided by Sheila Allender.
