Harmony & Van Buren to discuss grade sharing tonight

Written by Anna Greiner on August 19, 2015

The Harmony and Van Buren School Districts will conduct a joint meeting tonight with their school boards at the Harmony School to propose a vote on a resolution to enter into an investigation of developing an agreement to whole grade share beginning with the 2016-2017 school year. The first stage of entering into a whole grade sharing agreement is for both school boards to consider and act on a resolution of intent to begin meeting, discussing and negotiating the topics involved. February 1, 2016 is the deadline for the design and development of the sharing agreement. Both school boards welcome public input during all of the upcoming discussions and public meetings.
