Festeburg to Perform in Mt. Pleasant

Festeburg, the a Capella men’s group from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, will be in performance twice on the weekend of May 9-10 in Mt. Pleasant.
On Saturday, May 9th, Festeburg will present a concert as part of the Saturday night service of First United Methodist Church, 309 N. Main St. in Mt. Pleasant. Their performance will begin at 5:30 PM in the church sanctuary.
On Sunday, May 10th, the group will be part of the 9:30 AM Divine Service of Faith Lutheran Church, 910 East Mapleleaf Drive in Mt. Pleasant.
Festeburg is comprised of approximately 9 male voices who are students at Wartburg. Their repertoire consists of music from a wide range of styles, both sacred and secular. Singers who are graduates of Mt. Pleasant Community High School include junior Tanner Stutzman and freshman Garrett Carlston.
There is no set admission fee for the performances. However, a free-will offering will be accepted to help Festeburg fund their tour.
