Management team hosts backstage tours and sneak peaks, Yumm’s cakes and music
Fairfield, Iowa – The Fairfield Arts & Convention Center is pleased to welcome the public at its fall 2015 open house “Meet the Team” Tuesday, October 13 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The open house reception will feature backstage tours and technical demonstration sneak peaks, Yummy’s cakes, music from Jeffrey Hedquist and beverages.
The Fairfield Arts & Convention Center Board of Directors will be on hand, joining the management team in meeting with volunteers, members, donors and the general public.
“The Center has become an integral part in the way of life for Jefferson County and southeast Iowa,” said Rustin Lippincott, director. “This open house is a way to tour the facility and meet the team behind the exciting performances, wedding receptions, company parties and regional meetings. This is a fast paced, busy facility and we have an excellent management team leading this community asset.”
The Center’s management team, which is responsible for the leadership of the facility’s performances, meetings and special events is comprised of six people – Amanda Bartos, assistant director; Cevin Churchill, technical services director, Kadie Dennison, ticket office and volunteer manager; Ben Fry, development and event manager, Tara Gent, marketing and event director; Rustin Lippincott, executive director.
Dennison, the newest member of the team, which started in mid-September is excited to oversee the ticket office operations, meet with our patrons and work with the valuable volunteers.
“Volunteerism has always been important to me and I’m excited to work with the Center’s volunteers,” said Dennison. “Meeting with our volunteers is a priority with me and I hope they come to the open house.”
Over the last nine months, the Center has welcomed team members from Riverside, Iowa, Washington, Iowa and St. Louis, Missouri.
“We have attracted new talent to the Center and this is an opportunity to get to know the team and welcome them to Fairfield,” said Lippincott.
