Dr. Ian Moschenross, a versatile pianist, scheduled to perform at Iowa Wesleyan University

Dr. Ian Moschenross will present a piano recital on Thursday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel Auditorium. It will be an uplifting performance featuring works by Halffter, Mozart, Chopin, and Debussy. The recital is free and open to the public.

Ian Moschenross is an active recitalist, chamber musician and accompanist in the region. In addition to performing, he teaches applied piano, music history, theory, appreciation and interdisciplinary courses at Monmouth College, where he has served on the faculty since 2004 and holds the rank of associate professor of music. He chaired the Monmouth College Music Department from 2005-2011. A member of the Illinois Music Teachers Association, Moschenross is a past executive board member and past treasurer.
Dr. Moschenross earned degrees from Hanover College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he studied with Dr. C. Kimm Hollis and Dr. Mark Clinton, respectively.
