Citizen comments:  Comments must be directed to the subject under consideration.  The presiding officer shall rule on the relevance of the citizen comments.  Citizens making personal, impertinent, or slanderous remarks may be barred by the presiding officer from further comment before the Council during the meeting.

1. Call to order, 6:00 p.m..

2. Accept or amend the agenda.

3. Open forum: A time set aside to receive comments from the public regarding city business.  The Mayor and City Council welcome comments from the public on any subject pertaining to City business, including items on this agenda.  You are asked to state your name and address for the record and to limit your remarks to five minutes in order that others may be given the opportunity to speak.  The Order of Business is at the discretion of the Chair.  No action will be taken.

4. Update from the property owner of 405 West Division Street. Action by council if needed.

5. Chad McCleary (or representative) from ION Environmental Solutions, to review proposal for becoming the city’s affidavit operator for the City of Danville. Action by council if needed.

6. Second reading of proposed Ordinance Number 233, amending Chapter 12.04 of the Danville Municipal Code, pertaining to sidewalk care and maintenance. Action on the second reading of proposed Ordinance Number 233.  Discussion and action pertaining to the third reading of proposed Ordinance Number 233.

7. Discussion and action on pay request number 5 from Fye Excavation for work done on East Roosevelt Road. Discussion and action on accepting the Storm Sewer Improvements to East Roosevelt Road and pay request number 6 final retainage payment.

8. Streets and utilities report.
9. Approval of report.

9. Fire Chief report.
10. Action by council if needed.
11. Building permits.

10. Approval of consent agenda.
11. Council minutes October 18, 2021.
12. B. City Clerk to attend the upcoming SE IA Clerk’s Association meeting, November 10^th.
13. Payment of bills.

11. Council reports and correspondence.

12. Discussion on filling the position by the passing of Allen Schillie. Action by Council if needed.  Also, action by council pertaining to the sick time compensation to his estate.

13. Adjournment. The next regular session of the Danville City Council is scheduled for Monday, November 15, 2021, 6:00 p.m., Danville City Hall.
