Creative Outlet Theatre’s mission is to entertain by presenting professional theatrical productions of classic and contemporary works, to educate the public at large by encouraging them to engage in the theatre experience, and to enrich the culture of Lee, Henry, Des Moines and Van Buren counties in southeast Iowa by collaborating with other area organizations.
The Midwest Central Railroad was formed in 1959 by a small group of volunteers dedicated to the love of old locomotives, their preservation, operation, and a desire to share that love with others. During the Old Threshers reunion, with the dedicated volunteers and members, their trains haul approximately 35-40,000 passengers on the little one and quarter mile circle track at McMillan Park.
