County continues process to study jail needs

The Henry County Supervisors made the decision to go with an architectural firm out of Omaha for a jail feasibility study.  Tuesday the board discussed the pros and cons of two different firms and chose Prochaska Architects over Shive Hattery.  Prochaska will do a needs assessment and a feasibility study for a total cost of $30,000.  The study done last fall by a different firm did not provide the supervisors and the sheriff with enough information regarding what the County should do moving forward with providing jail space.
