Chuckwagon DinnerWritten by Theresa Rose on August 25, 2015
Let’s gather at the Morris Park Barn for a Chuckwagon Dinner! Historic Hills Scenic Byway is sponsoring this great outdoor event at Morris Park, Stockport, Iowa on Friday, August 28 at 5:00. Take a stroll thru the extensive collection at the pioneer museum, or explore one of the many walking trails at the park. If relaxation is what you are looking for, have a seat under a shade tree and enjoy live music and storytelling by our country favorite, John Pisarik, and participate in our live and silent auctions. A pork chop meal with all the fix’ins will be served beginning at 5:30, for a free will donation.
This event is open to the public. Morris Park is located at 10938 Timber Rd, Stockport, Iowa. Camping is available at the park.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Morris Park, and the Historic Hills Scenic Byway. Many programs in the byway counties and communities are served through Historic Hills Scenic Byway funds.
