Mount Pleasant Farmers Market from 8:30 to 11 am in Wright Pavilion in McMillan Park.
The Mount Pleasant yard waste site is open for the season every Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the west end of Yocum Lane.
The WINFIELD Presbyterian Church is having a Big Basement Sale, from 7 am -2 pm. The Sale will also be held next Friday, September 25th from 9 am-?, and Saturday, September 26th, 8 am-noon. MASKS ARE REQUIRED!
The Oakland Mills Nature Center is open Saturday from 9 am to noon and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6:30 pm.
Winfield Citywide garage sales going on today.
The biggest garage sale ever is at 108 North McCoy (the corner of North McCoy and West Monroe across from Wilson Distributors this Friday and Saturday 8 am to 4 pm. There are Tools, kitchenware, collectibles, golf equipment, children's toys and furniture and so much more! The net proceeds from this sale will be divided among local non-profits, including Midwest Old Threshers.
And don’t forget about the fundraising rummage sale at 2417 Lisa Lane to benefit Midwest Old Threshers is open from 8am to 4 pm this Friday and Saturday. Located behind KILJ at The Dennison's (one mile south of Mt. Pleasant on Oakland Mills Road). Look for the big signs! Wayland Area Antique Tractor Club is hosting an antique tractor & car show at the Calvary Baptist Church, 803 Mapleleaf Drive in Mount Pleasant from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be a nursing home ride form 1 to 2 pm. The Henry County Cattleman will be on site serving food.
Bigfood experts with the Calhoun County Paranormal Investigators will be at the Oakland Mills Nature Center at 10 am for an outdoor program and discussion session. All ages with a participating adult age 18 or older are invited tot his free program. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, bug spray and hand sanitizer. In the event of rain the program will be held in the Oakland Mills Nature Center. Seating will then be first come until available seats are filled and face covering will be required.
Henry County Road Department will be doing concrete patching on Oasis Avenue, between Hwy 78 and 170th Street beginning Monday, September 21st. Traffic will be one lane only controlled by traffic signals. Please use caution. This work will take approximately one (1) week, depending on weather.
