The Three Rivers Tractors Club will have over 50 antique tractors at Westland Mall this weekend. You can find the display at the center of the mall, during normal business hours. Tractors from members all around southeast Iowa will be displayed.
The St. John's Harvest Festival Kick Off Party will be held at the K of C Hall starting at 6:30 pm. There will be appetizers served until gone, Happy Hour specials from 6:30 to 7:30 and raffles thru out the night. The shrimp boil starts at 7 pm and there will karaoke and music starting at 9:30 pm. At 7:30 pm there will be some special Harvest Festival announcements.
The WMU Music Department will host its annual Cafe Concert at 7:00 PM in the big gym. All WMU students in grades 6-12 who are involved in music will perform at the concert. Bleacher tickets available to purchase for those just wanting to come and enjoy the music. Those ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students. There will also be freewill donation bake sale.
Iowa Wesleyan University presents the Golden Dragon Acrobats at 7 pm in the University Chapel. This is free to the public. Doors open at 6 pm.
The Van Buren Community Players present "Matilda" thru Feb. 29 at 7 pm and March 1st at 2 pm at the Roberts Memorial Building in Keosauqua. Adult tickets are $10, 18 and under are $6.
The Players Workshop presents "The Radiant" a docu-drama about the life of widowed Marie Curie who won 2 Nobel Prizes and revolutionized the world of science. Performances run Friday through Sunday at the Workshop located at 1431 Grove Street in Burlington. All performances are at 7:30 pm except for the Sunday matinees, which are at 2 pm.
