Beverly I. Snuffer, 82, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Bonaparte died at 1:43 A.M. Thursday October 22, 2015 at home with her daughter and granddaughter. She was born April 30, 1933 in Bloomberg, PA to Alvie and Louise Robbins Weatherill and married Garland W. Snuffer March 16, 1957 at Turbotville, PA. He died December 15, 2008.
Beverly grew up in Turbotville, PA and attended Turbotville Schools. She spent many of her married years in California and later years, after Gar’s retirement, lived in rural southeast Iowa near her daughter. After Gar’s death she moved to Texas for a time where her younger son lived and most recently she lived with her daughter in Murfreesboro, TN. She was a member of Church of God Fellowship in Richland, WA. Beverly enjoyed attending Murfreesboro Art League with her daughter and granddaughter, Organic Gardening, arts and crafts, cooking, attending church activities and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Garland M. Snuffer of Monrovia, CA and Eric A. Snuffer (Edith) of Tyler, TX and their son, Isaac, a daughter, Linda A. Snuffer Rex, TN and her daughter Eva Rex of Murfreesboro and son Jordan Rex of Bonaparte, a sister, Maxine Reimensnyder and her daughters Barbara Reimensnyder and Susan Reimensnyder (Duncan), and her granddaughter Pearl Hernandez (Ricky) and their children George, Andy and Emma.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Weatherill.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 27, 2015 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Pastor Linda Rex officiating. Visitation with family present will be 10-11 A.M. Tuesday prior to the service. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte. Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 791, Smyrna, TN 37164
