Arrests in Danville Case

On October 3, 2015 the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brent James Duerksen, 18 years old, of Danville on 9 counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle- 2nd offense (Class D felony), 1 count of 3rd Degree Burglary (class D felony), and 1 count Trafficking in Stolen Weapons (class D felony).

On October 3, 2015 the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dylon Joseph Kuster, 18 years old, of Middletown on 2 counts of Trafficking in Stolen Weapons (class D felony).

Duerksen’s and Kuster’s arrests are the result of an investigation into numerous motor vehicle burglaries and thefts of firearms in the City of Danville.

Brent Duerksen and Dylon Kuster were transported to the Des Moines County Correctional Center to await a court appearance.

Dylon Joseph Kuster, DOB 4/24/1997, held on $10,000 bond

Additional charges are pending in this investigation.
